I have actually gotten a peer award. For blogging.
Which does rather seem to indicate that I should actually do some.
All right. Coming soon, many reflections on the social model of disability as a theological movement. Will that satisfy?

Yes, actually. And please explain the medical model, because it seems like something that the social model-ists (I guess?) made up. That is, it seems like no one intentionally subscribes to the medical model. Seriously, I’m not a heckler. I’m just curious.

“reflections on the social model of disability as a theological movement”
I’m not really sure what this means, but will look forward to learning.
So where’s the award and who presented it? Do share.

Congrats and please do blog, I enjoy it but I understand a bit the other aspects of your life and understand why you blog irregularly, I hope you are well.
Ahh, actually I do subscribe to the medical model for some things, like a broken arm, or say Marfans, a connective tissue disorder. I would have to ask people with EDS if they would as well – isn’t it better to have braces and surgery, than to create a world where you never dislocate (how is that possible? Nerf world?).
